</div>

This is a beautiful Speedmaster which, although it lacks the day/month feature of stock# 3221.30.00, has a silver and not the white dial face of the day/month model. This makes it much easier to read as the white face is several shades darker than the silver and difficult to read in poor light. The day/month model would be a feature I personally have no need or desire for; the date alone is sufficient and very easy to read. This watch is quite striking. Of course it keeps perfect time and is one tough, durable, and gorgeous timepiece, so I highly recommend it. Compare 3221.30.00 to this one, 3211.30.00, and you will see the difference immediately. The easier to read, the better. This version is easier to read (and better looking). If readability is critical to you nothing I've ever seen or owned can beat it. That includes my last Omega, the Speedmaster Professional "Moon" watch like the ones NASA gives their astronauts for use in space. Mine, which I bought in Vietnam at the Base Exchange Store for $99.00 (!) was, unfortunately, stolen. This is a more than fine replacement!
